Quality/Process Engineering Manager


POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Provides engineering management relative to Quality, ensuring manufacturing processes and procedures are within the guidelines of the Quality Management System.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for managing the quality/process engineering department and Quality Management System.
2. Direct and support the engineering team in the development and/or improvement for manufacturing processes designed to improve quality and reduce manufacturing cost.
3. Manage the implementation and evaluation of manufacturing processes, emphasizing those which provide cost savings or improve production methods using Lean Six and Six Sigma methodologies.
4. Maintain, develop, and interface with customers relative to engineering needs.
5. Responsible for identifying and implementing facility corrective/preventive action(s) through root cause analysis.
6. Develop and maintain necessary reports, records and files.
7. Generation of quotations.
8. Coordinate with Human Resources in hiring, training, counseling and discipline of department teammates.
9. Ensure that a safe and clean work environmental is provided for all teammates.

11. Business travel required
12. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 5-10 years Manufacturing composites experience preferred and hands on experience with implementation of engineering processes and procedures. Drafting/AutoCAD design experience required.
Technical knowledge and experience with vacuum infusion, hand layup and spray layup polyester resins, gel coat application, and surface painting of composites parts. Knowledge and experience with ISO 9001 a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
